Some news bites for you:
* Thanks to Marni Levitt for putting together a great evening on Oct. 14th at the Concord! 'Twas a hoot, and nothing less.
* I'm getting new pictures taken this weekend, and in turn a long-promised overhaul on the website! Don't get me wrong, I love it the way it is... but sometimes I need to dress up for you guys, too.
* Anna and I are still getting all the details right for the next season of our show, and we will let you know as soon as we do! We just want to make sure everything is right before we get going.
* It's that time again! The next Pub Session is Monday, November 24th at the Tranzac Club (292 Brunswick Ave.). There are a LOT of exciting things happening for this one... it's Pub Session's birthday (Can you believe it's been a YEAR?), and I'm such a proud papa. Just you wait!
* As always, I am loving the snap.crackle.pop of fall, and am all cozy in my new house, cooking up a combination of pumpkin pie for me, and creative concoctions for you. I hope you guys are all having a great one, too! Be good and I'll save you some pie.

I'm back! I arrived back in the city a couple days ago, and am excited to announce a couple things.
Yesterday, I performed two sets for the inauguration ceremony for the North Toronto Fresh Foods Market, a new farmer's market at Yonge and Eglington. You can check out more information about it here. Congratulations to the Daily Apple team for their continued success!
Also, I'll be playing a show on Oct. 14th at the Concord Cafe (937 Bloor St. W), with Anna Sudac, Marni Levitt and Sara Kamin. Doors will be at 7:30 with the show starting at 8pm... more details to follow!
Anna and I will be bringing you a whole new season of 'the original folk-talk show' soon... we are just ironing out some details for the next batch! If you or someone you know would like to be a guest on the show, and/or perform, send us an email here!
The leaves on the trees are starting to get that orange tinge... be still my heart. How I love the fall.

August 14th, 2008
A huge thank-you to those who made it out to Pub Session (Spring/Summer Edition)... you made it the most successful Pub Session to date, and it was a FANTASTIC way to wrap up it's first year. The next one will be coming in the fall, and will be celebrating it's birthday with even more surprises.
Also, thank you to www.thatradio.com for the interview! We had a great chat about everything from Leonard Cohen to Paris Hilton (...briefly, I promise), and my CD 'Patterns' will now be on rotation at the station... drop me a message if you hear one of the songs!
A special thanks to the gung-ho dynamos Anna Sudac and Marni Levitt for allowing me to be their special guest this Tuesday at the Kingston Brewing Co.! What a fantastic energy that room had... an electric feeling which can only be compared to drinking your body weight in German beer. Which I did as well.
I'll be back in Toronto in the fall with lots of exciting announcements, so always stay posted! I miss you... yes, YOU, specifically. Why you gotta act so surprised?
And FINALLY, I would like to give a huge congratulations to my friend and former roommate Janna Polzin, who will be appearing as Maria in the Sound of Music in Toronto starting this fall. You can buy your tickets here!
Anticipating,
Trevor

June 15th, 2008
My, oh, my, how times flies!
Anna and I are approaching our sixth evening at the Concord Cafe!
It really has been amazing having so many great musicians perform with us, and having all of YOU for sweet company... and to help us eat all the cupcakes. A big special thank you to Darren Austin Hall, Kritty Uranowski, Lana Carillo, Vanessa B., Michael-Angelo, Nancy Silverman and Gabby Charron-Merritt for sharing their sweet music with us. Also, a huge thanks to Genoveva and the Concord Cafe for being such accommodating hosts... we are so grateful!
Why all these thank-you messages? Well, Trevor and Anna, Live at the Concord Cafe is going on summer vacation! So, this Tuesday, June 17th, will be the last of our nights at the Concord until the warm and smoky Autumn! So, get an eyeful:
-------------------------------------------------------- TREVOR AND ANNA, LIVE AT THE CONCORD CAFE! --------------------------------------------------------
Tuesday, June 17th @ 9pm Concord Cafe (937 Bloor St. W)
Come join Trevor and Anna as they give you enough folk, fight and funny to last yourself all the way through the summer! This will be the final night of their six-night set at the Concord Cafe, and we want to see YOU there!
And, we've got a lot of great reasons for you to be there with us!
*We've got a whole new set of tunes for you (covers and originals), and we'll be playing some 'best of' songs that we've accumulated over the last couple months at the Concord Cafe, such as: Turn Your Lights Down Low, One (w. the loneliest rap-break), Domo Arigato (Miso Lonely)... and a special song for the Goonie in all of us!
*We're providing some amazing home-baked vegan goodies... yum yum...!
*Our special guest for the evening is the acoustic visionary Chloe Charles! Check out her brand-new website to get a taste... we're super excited to have her! Come find out all about her on Trevor and Anna's question couch!
*It's PWYC! Even if you can't!
*We would LOVE to share this big night with you, and see you all personally. It means a lot to us to see you there!
Convinced yet? Now convince a friend and we'll see you both Tuesday night!
I truly am the luckiest boy to get to make music for all of you guys.
Grateful,
Trevor
May 21st, 2008
Right at this moment, I have so many fingers in the pie (an expression I've always had mixed feelings about), and so apologize about the lack of updates! But I promise, I'm scheming away!
Anna and I have been having TOO MUCH FUN at the Concord Cafe. We're approaching our 5th night, and are so grateful for all of you coming out to share the fun with us... it has been a blast sharing the couch with all of our guests, and we have a lot more to show you, so keep on coming!
Next up on June 3rd is Montreal's Michael-Angelo (www.michael-angelo.net). Imagine Ron Sexsmith with bigger voice and a bigger edge and you're on the right track... we're so excited to have him join us... more on this soon!
Also, I've been growing lots of new songs for you... some are still just babies, but I can't wait to show-and-tell them all!
Some big news is that www.trevorcampbellmusic.com will be getting a big overhaul soon. This means lots more for you to play with, and feast your eyes and ears upon... keep posted!
A couple of weeks ago, I had some new shots taken by photographer Zak Kearns... Zak is a really fantastic photographer and we had a lot of fun shooting these pictures. For example, in this one I'm thinking: Good golly, the rain is freezing, and I think there is a family of raccoons living in that brick wall, but I'm having fun!
I also want to thank everyone for their
continued support! Seeing you come out to the gigs, hearing about you
spreading the word, and just getting your wonderful feedback makes a
whole lot of work feel like nothing at all... so from the bottom of my
summer-loving heart.... THANK YOU!
Now, more than ever, stay posted...
Trevor

April 18th, 2008
First of, I'd like to send a big thank-you to the organizers of Black, White and Acoustic, where I performed as a guest on April 10th. The event was brilliant, and it's so exciting to see people creating opportunities for live music!... especially when it's five minutes from my house. Seriously, the commute could not have been easier. Thank you, Heather and Ira!
Next up: Two weeks have gone by, and it's time for the second night of Trevor and Anna, Live at the Concord Cafe! We had a great time at the first one, and have even more surprises planned for you this time!
And I just might bake cookies again.
This week's guest is the powerhouse bundle of quirk and quaint, Kritty Uranowski! In addition to being an excellent songwriter and an incredible vocalist, Kritty is also dang funny.
Also, as this Tuesday, April 22nd is Earth Day, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the David Suzuki Foundation.
We can't wait to see you there!
Impatiently,
Trevor
